Newsletters & Email Blasts
Our weekly newsletters are seen by our store owners and end consumer. Anyone can sign up from our website to subscribe to our newsletter. We typically like to highlight trending styles with bold + eye catching designs. Sometimes we pick themes depending on the season like pageant or prom dresses. We also like to showcase our most popular pictures we have been tagged in on social media to encourage girls to continue to tag us.
Our email blasts specifically go to our store owners only and the email addresses have to personally be approved and added by an employee to ensure the address is connected to one of our retailers. These emails contain info like styles that are in stock coming back in stock, that are on sale or highlighting buying events coming up. These designs are typically simple and straight forward as the viewer will sometimes download the image and post it online.
Instagram Stories
We post 4-5 pre planned/designed IG Stories a day, typically with a theme (ex: On Trend Cocktails, Our Prom Favorites, Must See New arrivals, Etc). And we also repost images and stories we get tagged. We trying to engage with our audience as much as possible and let them know we see when they tag us to help our engagement.
Tiktoks/Reels/IGTV:
As we all know, TikTok and Reels have been blowing up recently with mobile content becoming so in demand. But it is sometimes challenging to make trendy and creative TikToks but keep them on brand and in line with our target audience. I helped put together a creative brief with trends that I think could align with our brand and how to execute them and with what music, model, and dress they should be paired with.

ASHLEYlauren Blog
We have 1-2 blogs go out a week and are mostly used for SEO purposes. They typically showcase 5-6 dresses styler per blog and how to style them for different events. We also talk about makeup, what accessories are trending each season and lots of pageantry tips. We make sure to post personalized social media content to our facebook, instagram and twitter accounts to help promote visibility for each blog post.

Picture Edits
It is well known that almost all images on any type of shopping site are photoshopped. Sometimes to correct lighting issues, enhance the color, smooth out a few wrinkles etc. At ASHLEYlauren we do the same. Please see some examples of the type of editing I do to our product images.
ASHLEYlauren GIFS
GIFs and stickers have become super popular on Instagram when trying to spice up your story. It has become common for brands to create their own ‘on brand’ GIFs and I have included some that I have designed. Keeping in mind, the type of people using these are young girls going to proms and pageants or trunk shows.
ASHLEYlauren Magazine II
When creating the second ASHLEYlauren Magazine, we wanted to bring attention to fashion and art and how beautiful they are together. We asked fashion illustrator Jovan Rosario to interpret ASHLEYlauren women in some of our favorite and classic dresses.
This project is special to us because it brings attention to a woman’s individuality. We wanted it to represent all of the different women who wear ASHLEYlauren and their personalities.
Although I personally did not create the illustrations, I had the pleasure of working with Jovan when formatting the book. Countless of hours were spent in front of a monitor going back and forth on the placement of the illustrations and color correcting of the dresses. We wanted the layout and feel of the book to match both of our brands. Jovan is an amazing fashion illustrator, but had little knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop. It was exciting for me to be able to teach someone who I looked up to in the art world.
The project overall was an amazing experience and I feel very honored to be apart of something that has been seen and shipped around the world. To see the full magazine, please click here.
