BlueEyed Pictures, a film production agency, came to us needing a responsive website for one of their client actors... who happens to be 9 years old. Samual Mason Paul (aka Sammy) is a rising star who is in need of a modern but age appropriate website with a matching social media strategy. The challenge of this project was how to target a 'young fan base' and 'future client' audience at the same time. I chose to go with bright gradients (comprised of his favorite colors) and fun icons, to air to his younger side, along with strong and clear photos + headshots of him, to help show his casting diversity. Both Sammy and his mom loved the designs and how his personality really came though. Since photography was very important throughout this site, Sammy's mom agreed that a new photoshoot would be needed. So we put together a photo guide for the photographer to ensure we got the kinds of shots we would need for the website. The client is very happy with the results so far and I can't wait to so them his new website!

Objective: To redo the current UX, UI, and visual design of the Student Information System website at RIT. Students use the site to search and enroll in classes, make schedules, look up grades and request transcripts. The
process of the project included identifying the main pain points, concerns, conducting a user survey, brainstorming solutions, wire framing possible options, and visually designing the look and feel of the site.
My Use Case: How to search and add a class to your schedule.
Please check out my deck and Style Guide for this project! (you will be impressed)
PS. You can see what the site used to look like at the bottom of the gallery.
Here is an image of what the current site looks like.
The objective for this project was to take Invoca's Annual Report and create a PDF that was downloadable from their website, along with an infographic of their 5 most important stats from the report, and social media ads to promote the PDF. This year's report was about how people are using their voice to communicate with voice assistants to make purchases. My responsibility on this project was to create the infographic, social media ads, and to assist with the PDF design. Some challenging aspects of the infographic included determining how to make the concept of 'voice' look visually pleasing while using Invoca's dark color palette and abstract imagery. The biggest risk that paid off was using a black background for the infographic. Although it is rare to see an infographic on a dark background, this not only matched Invoca's brand perfectly, but helps the stats (that were used in the bright secondary colours + gradients) really pop off the screen and draw in the reader's eyes. Knowing the infographic was going to be the most challenging design wise, it was designed first so the PDF and ads could follow its aesthetic.

This project was your standard brand and website refresh. SMI's old website was outdated and didn't function the way they needed it to with the additions of their new regions. They came to us wanting a brand new color palette and responsive website that met their regional needs along with a custom CMS, but asked us to use their same logo. The core visual concept of the website was origami, to demonstrate the myriad ways their customers can use their invoice data. This theme was maintained throughout the entire website, complemented by a clean and simple layout. The client loved this idea because of its originality and how creative we could be with the origami. My role on this project was Production Designer, so after the first several pages were created by the Lead Designer, I was responsible for carrying the origami concept across subsequent pages, developing my own creative solutions within the predetermined look and feel. This website was very fun to design.
